DECREE OF February 7, 2013

Authorizes the increase in the social capital of VALEC-Engineering, Constructions and S.A. Ferrovias.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers him on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of art. 4º of Decree-Law No. 1,678 of February 22, 1979,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º It is allowed to increase the social capital of VALEC-Engineering, Construction and Ferrovias S.A., from R$ 6,303,299,446.89 (six billion, three hundred and three million, two hundred and ninety-nine thousand, four hundred and forty-six real and eighty-nine pennies) for R$ 8,341,702,786.69 (eight billion, three hundred and forty one million, seven hundred and two thousand, seven hundred and eighty-six reais and sixty-nine cents), upon incorporation of Union credits, in the amount of R$ 2,038,403,339.80 (two billion, thirty-eight million, four hundred and three thousand, three hundred and thirty-nine reais and eighty cents), arising from budget allocations received in the financial year 2011, and the monetary update of the previous capitalization.

Art. 2º This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
