DECREE OF January 18, 2000.

Transfer to the Dom Joaquim Foundation the concession given to the Radio Rural Education of Tefé Ltda., to explore sound broadcasting service in tropical wave, in the city of Tefé, the State of Amazonas.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in the terms of art. 94, item 3, point ?a?, of the Regulation of Broadcasting Services, approved by Decree No. 52,795 of October 31, 1963, and in view of what is stated in Administrative Procedure No 53630.000193/97.


Art. 1º It is transferred to the Don Joaquim Foundation the concession granted to Radio Rural Education of Tefé Ltda., by Decree No 897 of April 13, 1962, renewed by Decree No 91,936 of November 20, 1985, to explore, without the right to exclusivity, a tropical wave-broadcasting service, in the city of Tefé, the State of the Amazonas.

Single Paragraph. The operation of the broadcasting service, the outoryof which is transferred by this Decree, shall be governed by the Brazilian Telecommunications Code, subsequent laws and their regulations.

Art. 2º this Decree comes into force on the date of its publication.
