LEI NO 10,334, DE December 19, 2001.

Disposes on the obligation to manufacture and commercialization of incandescent lamps for use in value stresses equal to or higher than the nominal voltage of the distribution network, and gives other provider.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC I do know that the National Congress decrees and I sanction it following Law:

Art.It is mandatory to manufacture and commercialization of incandescent bulbs in voltage values at least equal to those of the nominal stresses of electric power distribution networks.

§ 1º Tension values for fabricated or marketed incandescent lamps may be from up to 10% (ten per cent) higher than those of the nominal stresses of distribution networks.

§ 2º Incandescent lamps manufactured or marketed should bring in print in your consumer warning packaging about its luminosity, durability in hours and the consequences for such product properties of their use in electrical stresses other than those for which it was specified.

§ 3º Excludes from the obligations laid down in this article the fabricated incandescent lamps and that if destination for export.

Art. 2º The manufacture or commercialization of incandescent bulbs at odds with the willing at art. 1º will subject offenders to written warning and fine of value equivalent to R$ 53,205.00 (fifty and three thousand, two hundred and five reais).

§ 1º In case of recurrence, double the fines provided for in the caput shall apply. article.

§ 2º (VETADO)

Art. 3º This Act comes into force on the date of its publication.
