DECREE OF December 21, 2009.

Abre to the Social Security Budget of the Union, in favor of the Ministry of Social Welfare, supplemental credit worth R$ 7,490,000,000.00, for reinforcement of appropriations in the current Budget Act.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the constant authorisation of art. 4º, inciso XII, point?a?, of Law No. 11,897 of December 30, 2008,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is open to the Union's Social Security Budget (Law No. 11,897 of 30) december 2008), in favor of the Ministry of Social Security, supplemental credit worth R$ 7,490,000,000.00 (seven billion, four hundred and ninety million reais), to meet the constant programming of Annex I of this Decree.

Art. 2º The resources required for the opening of the credit that it treats art. 1º stem from partial cancellation of budget appropriations, as indicated in Annex II of this Decree.

Art. 3º This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
