I do know that the National Congress has approved, and I, Renan Calheiros, President of the Senate, in accordance with the first paragraph of art. 52 of the rules of procedure and of sub-item XXVIII of art. 48 of the internal regulations of the Senate, enact the following LEGISLATIVE DECREE No. 148 of 2015 (*) Approves the text of the Convention on the Elimination of the requirement of legalization of foreign public Documents, done at the Hague on 5 October 1961.
The National Congress decrees: Art. 1 Is approved the text of the Convention on the Elimination of the requirement of legalization of foreign public Documents, done at the Hague on 5 October 1961.
Sole paragraph. Shall be subject to the approval of the National Congress any acts that may result in a revision of that Convention, as well as any additional adjustments pursuant to item I of the art. 49 of the Federal Constitution, or demanding commitments entail to the national heritage.
Art. 2 This legislative decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
