DECREE OF April 20, 2004

Declares of social interest, for agrarian reform purposes, rural real estate that mentions, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 2º of Supplementary Law No. 76 of July 6, 1993, 18 and 20 of Law No. 4,504 of November 30, 1964 and 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º Stay declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters "a", "b", "c" and "d", and 20, inciso VI, of Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, the following rural real estate:

I-"Fazenda Lages or Lages", with area of two thousand, nine hundred and four hectares, situated in the Municipality of Saint John D' Alliance, object of Registration No 1,328, fls. 195, Book 3-A, of the Estate Registration Office of Saint John D' Alliance, Comarca of High Paradise, State of Goiás (Process INCRA/SR-28/no 54700.000775 /2003-78) ;

II-"Holy Happiness Farm", with area of four thousand, five hundred and thirty-nine hectares and thirty-three airs, situated in the Municipality of Cocalzinho de Goiás, object of the Registrars in the R-85-329, fls. 59v, Book 2-P ; R-75-330, fls. 10v, Book 2-Q ; R-37-185, fls. 09, Book 2-Q and R-35-665, fls. 11, Book 2-Q, of the Real Estate Registration of the Coruman Comarca of Goiás, Goiás State (Process INCRA/SR-04/no 54150.001911 /2003-11) ; and

III-"Narrow Mountain Bridge of Stone", with area of a thousand, two hundred and thirty-four hectares, five airs and thirty-five centiars, situated in the Municipalities of Montividiu and Rio Verde, object of the Matricles in the 1,313, Book 2-RG ; 1,314, Book 2-RG ; 1,315, Book 2-RG, Averbations in the AV-2-26.727, Book 2-RG ; AV-2-26.730, Book 2-RG ; AV-2-26.731, Book 2-RG and AV-2-26.732, Book 2-RG, of the Real Estate Registration of the Green River Comarch, Goiás State (Process) INCRA/SR-04/no 54150.000641/2001-69).

Art. 2º Excludes from the effects of this Decree the semovents, machines and agricultural implements as well as the existing benefits in the real estate referred to in art. First and belonging to those who will be beneficiaries with their destination.

Art. 3º The National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform-INCRA is hereby authorized to promote the dispropriations of rural real estate that it treats this Decree, in the manner provided for in Supplementary Law No. 76 of July 6, 1993, and to maintain the areas of Legal Reservation and permanent preservation provided for in Law No. 4,771 of September 15, 1965, preferably in single gleba, so as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4º This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
