DECREE No. 8309, OF 23 SEPTEMBER 2014
promulgates the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Swiss Federal Council on the Exercise of Remunerated Activities by Family Members of Diplomatic Missions, Consular and Permanent Missions signed in Brasilia on 15 June 2009.
tHE PRESIDENT oF tHE SUPREME FEDERAL COURT, in office of PRESIDENT oF tHE REPUBLIC, using the powers conferred upon him by art. 80, art. 84, caput, item IV of the Constitution, and
Whereas the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Swiss Confederation signed in Brasilia on June 15, 2009, Agreement on the Exercise of Remunerated Activities by Family Member of Diplomatic missions, Consular Offices and Permanent missions;
Whereas the National Congress approved the Agreement by means of Legislative Decree No. 301 of 11 October 2011; and
Whereas the Agreement entered into force for the Federative Republic of Brazil, the external legal terms, on 30 November 2011, pursuant to paragraph 1 of its Article 9;
DECREES:
Art. 1 It promulgated the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Swiss Federal Council on the Exercise of Remunerated Activities by Family Members of Diplomatic Missions, Permanent Consular and Missions signed in Brasilia on June 15, 2009, attached to this Decree.
Sole paragraph. The Agreement referred to in the caput will be implemented and fully complied with its terms.
Art. 2 are subject to the approval of the National Congress acts that may result in revision of the Agreement and supplementary agreements which result in charges or commitments against the national property under item I of the caput of Article 49 of the Constitution.
Art. 3. This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
