Decree No. 6903, 20 JULY 2009.
Adopts provisions concerning the performance of Rectification, of 30 October 2007, the agreement of Economic Complementation nº 62, between the Governments of Argentina, Republic of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States parties of MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Cuba.
The PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC, in the use of the role that gives the art. 84, section IV, of the Constitution, and whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI) signed by Brazil on August 12 1980 and promulgated by Decree No. 87054, of 23 March 1982, provides the Economic Complementation Agreement mode;
Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Republic Argentina, of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States parties of MERCOSUR and the Republic of Cuba, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed on 21 July 2006, in Córdoba, the agreement of Economic Complementation nº 62, incorporated into the Brazilian domestic law by Decree No. 6068 March 26, 2007;
Whereas the General Secretariat of LAIA, the use of the colleges which gives the resolution 30, of 17 August 1983, the ALADI Representatives Committee, wrote, on 30 October 2007, the rectification of the agreement on Economic Complementation No. 62;
DECREES: Art. 1 the minutes of Rectification, of 30 October 2007, the agreement of Economic Complementation nº 62, between the Governments of Argentina, Republic of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States parties of MERCOSUR, and the Government of the Republic of Cuba, just by copying the present Decree will be performed and accomplished as fully as it contains.
Art. 2 this Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.

The existence of such errors has been verified by the Secretariat-General, which informed the permanent representations of Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Cuba in this regard through the LAIA Note/SUB-JRB-447/07 of October 9 2007, setting a deadline of 10 days for the submission of observations.

That after this period without having received comments from the signatories, this General Secretariat proceeded to carry out corresponding modifications on the Portuguese language version of the agreement on Economic Complementation No. 62, signed on 21 July 2006 between the Governments of Argentina, Republic of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States parties of MERCOSUR , and the Government of the Republic of Cuba.
