JULY 10, 2001 DECREE
recognized as the Brazilian Government's interest increased foreign participation in the capital of Banco JP Morgan SA and other provisions.
The PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, using the powers conferred upon him by art. 84, item IV of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of art. 52, sole paragraph of the Act Constitutional Provisions,
DECREES:
Art. 1 is the Brazilian government's interest to foreign participation, up to one hundred percent in the share capital of Banco JP Morgan SA
Art. 2 The Central Bank of Brazil will adopt the measures necessary for the implementation of this Decree.
Art. 3. This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
