DECREE NO 3,367, DE February 22, 2000.

Has over the process of disestatization of the electrical sector companies, included in the National Desestatization Program-PND.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of the Resolution of the National Unestation Council No 02 of February 22, 2000.

Decreta:

Art. 1º It shall be the Ministry of Mines and Energy, as of the date of publication of this Decree, responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the demestatisation processes of the electrical sector companies, included in the National Unestation Programme- PND, competing, in what couber, the assignments provided for in art. 18 of Law No. 9,491 of September 9, 1997.

Art. 2º In order to achieve the objectives set out in the preceding Article, the following assignments shall be conferred on the Ministry of Mines and Energy as follows:

I-promote the adjustments of a societal, operational, accounting or legal nature and the financial sanitation necessary for the dispentations ;

II-define events and timeline of the demestatisation process ;

III-submit to the National Desestatization Council-CND the model, the respective demestatisation editals of the electrical sector companies and other matters provided for in law.

IV-coordinate the legal procedures necessary for the execution of the desestatization work ; and

V-coordinate and supervise the consultancy, audit, review and other specialized services necessary for the execution of the discharges.

Single Paragraph. The responsibility for the disclosure of information inherent in the process of demestation is the sole competence of the Minister of State for Mines and Energy.

Art. 3º This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
