EDUARDO RODRIGUEZ VELTZE CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

soon as the Honorable National Congress has sanctioned the following Law: THE HONORABLE NATIONAL CONGRESS, D E C R E T A: ARTICLE 1. All young people aged 18 to 22 years who have completed the compulsory Military Service, in addition to receiving the Military Book will be extended free of charge to the Identity card. ARTICLE 2. The National Directorate of Personal Identification is authorized to be organized through the Army's General Command, through the First Department of the same Command, to grant the National Identity Code. to all young people aged 18 to 22 who have completed the compulsory military service. ARTICLE 3. The Ministry of Finance is authorized to finance or seek financing, so that the granting of such a document does not cost the beneficiaries. Refer to the Executive Branch for constitutional purposes. It is given in the Session Room of the Honorable National Congress, five days in the month of January of two thousand six years.
