LAW NO 2273 LAW OF NOVEMBER 22, 2001

JORGE QUIROGA RAMIREZ CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

For the Honorable National Congress, it has sanctioned the following Law: THE HONORABLE CONGRESS NATIONAL, D E C R E T A: ARTICLE 1.- In accordance with Article 59º, attribution 12, of the Political Constitution of the State, is approved and ratified? Protocol to Prevent and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children? signed on the occasion of the United Nations Conference, held in Palermo, Italy, from 12 to 15 December 2000, within the framework of the United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime. Refer to the Executive Branch for Constitutional purposes. It is given in the Session Room of the Honorable National Congress, at the nineteenth day of the month of November of two thousand years.
