RENÉ BARRIENTOS ORTUÑO CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
As soon as the National Congress has sanctioned the following Law:
THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,
D E C R E T A:
Article 1. In exercise of the power conferred on it by Article 62 of the Constitution of the State, in its paragraph 2 °, with reference to points 4 and 5 of Article 59, it approves and authorizes the credit contracted by the Supreme Government with the International Association for Development (IDA) for the livestock development of the Beni department, for a total amount of TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($us. 2,000,000.-), according to the terms and conditions stipulated in Supreme Decree No. 7971 of 18 April 1967, to which the supreme decree is raised to the rank of Law.
Article 2. The Supreme Government, through the the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture, will negotiate with the International Association for Development (IDA) the reduction of the interest referred to in article 3 ° of the supreme decree 7971, in merit to the provisions of the 4th clause of the convention credit subscribed on 26 May 1967.
