LAW NO 3475 LAW OF SEPTEMBER 19, 2006
ALVARO MARCELO GARCÍA LINERA ACTING PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
For the Honorable National Congress, it has sanctioned the following Law: THE HONORABLE CONGRESS NATIONAL, D E C R E T A: ARTICLE 1. declare to the Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Patron of Sucre, Cultural and Religious Heritage of the Nation. ARTICLE 2. For the purpose of this Law, the Municipal Government of Sucre, the Association of Folkloric Sets and the Committee of the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, local and national cultural entities, must ensure the recovery and consolidation of this tradition and its cultural value, promoting the participation of the social sectors, communities and indigenous peoples in their celebration. ARTICLE 3. The Association of Folkloric Sets and the Committee of the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Bands de Música, Artisans Embroiders and Cultural Pools is recognized for the work carried out, for more than two decades, in the celebration of the month of September of each year. ARTICLE 4. The Municipal Government of the City of Sucre is entrusted, in coordination with the Association of Folkloric Sets and the Committee of the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe and other Cultural Institutions, the organization of the Entrance Folklorica de la Virgen de Guadalupe and also to develop tasks aimed at promoting, promoting, conserving and spreading, at the national and international level of this festival.
