CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPAsBLICA

FOR HOW much, the national congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECCRETA:

ArtA-ass 1A ° †" The issuance banks will collect all of their currently circulating fractious banknotes until June 30, 1893, replacing them with unfractionated notes.

Art. 2.A ° †" All the tickets that are presented to them in their different offices, after the date indicated, will replace them with new tickets A³ will convert them, exempting the holder the payment of the stamp of one cent for each fraction Useful.

Art. 3.A to € " The holders of the banknotes are exempted from the provisions of the previous article, when they present at the same time fractions corresponding to the same number of issue series.

Art. 4.A to € " On June 30, the banks will check the amount they have in cash, in divided banknotes and will proceed to their immediate incineration. Any party ticket that appears in its coffers after that date must have the respective timbres attached to it in order to be incinerated.

Communicate to the executive branch for constitutional purposes.
