SEVERE FERNANDEZ ALONSO,
CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC.
For how much, the National Congress has sanctioned the following law:
THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,
Art. 1A °.â€ " From the 1A °. of January 1898, the production of alcohols and spirits made in the paA-s, is taxed with the following national tax:
Bs. 8 per quintal spirit of alcohol
" 6 per quintal spirit of spirit, manufactured of sugar and extranking melases.
Art. 2A °.â€ " For the collection of the tax, the spirits whose grade does not pass from 22A °. Cartier shall be rejected as spirits; as alcohols those that exceed this.
Art. 3A °â€ " They are excepted from the tax established by this law, the spirits and rezacados elaborated with raw material of the paA-s, for all the Republic.
