COLONY REGISTRATION.†" Inscription of lands.

SEVERE FERNANDEZ ALONSO,

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPASBLICA.

For how much, the National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECCRETA:

Article 1A ° .†"The inscription prescribed by Article 11 of the law of 13 November 1886 shall be made in the Register of Colonies within the term of five years, from the publication of this law.

The adjudications to be verified hereafter shall be entered within the following year. The fine of Bs. 40 to 200, which is imposed by Article 11 of that law, is hereby repealed.

Art. 2A °.†" They are owners of the lands that own and cultivate the national A³ with previous stay of ten years, provided that the possession does not exceed a lot of twenty-five hectares.

Art. 3A °.†" The explorers of the RA-s and the balda-as lands, will be awarded according to their services by the Legislative Power in each special case.

Art. 4A °.†" Those who, according to the article 2A °. possess the above grounds, will ask the Government for the respective title, prior to the legal verification of the possession required by this law.

Art. 5A °.†" The article 8A of the Law of 13 November 1896 is repealed.

Communicate to the Executive Branch for constitutional purposes.
