BECAUSE: the National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS

DECCRETA:

ArtA-arse 1A ° †"Learned the issuance of nA-quel currency, made by the Executive Branch, in the amount of ten million pieces of ten cents and five million five cents, for a total value of one thousand two hundred and fifty Thousand Bolivians (Bs. 1,250 ,000.†") in accordance with the contract concluded with the firm Berndorfer Metallwarenfabrik, Austria, for the purpose of the agreement, with the following characteristics:

Currency of ten cents. Each piece with a diameter of twenty-two and a half-feet and a weight of four and a half grams.

Currency of five cents. Each piece with diA meter of ten and eight mila-meters and weight of two and a quarter grams.

The component material of both classes of coins consists of a alloy of 25% of nA-quel and 75% of copper, according to Article 12 of the Law Currency of July 11, 1928.

ArtA-ass 2A ° †"New-issue nA-quel coins, as well as those of old emissions; will have, at face value, the liberating power that determines the Article 14 of the Monetary Act cited.
