CONSIDERING:

That in the elections held on March 10 of the present year for the The organization of the executive branch has obtained the citizen, Enrique Peà ± aranda, the figure of 58,060 votes for President of the Republic in the constitutional period from 1940 to 1944;

That the indicated figure constitutes the majority of votes cast by the electors;

DECCRETA:

ArtA-article 1o. †" It is proclaimed President of the Republic, citizen Enrique Peà ± aranda Castillo, whose constitutional period, will be computed from April 15, 1940 to August 15, 1944.
