VICTOR PAZ ESTENSSORO

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

As soon as the Honorable National Congress has sanctioned the following Law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1. Rises to the range of Province with the name of? Manuel Maria Caballero?, the current Second Section

Municipal Comarapa, of the province of Vallegrande, of the department of Santa Cruz, created by Law of 22 November 1886, being its capital the city of Comarapa, as First Section of the new policy entity.

Article 2. The title of city with which the people of Comarapa was founded, on June 11, 1615,

recognized

being founded by cedula of October 30, 1612.

Article 3. The Canton Saipina is elevated to the rank of Second Municipal Section of the province? Manuel Maria

Caballero?, with its capital the town of Saipina, and the cantons Chilon and Oconi, in the extension and limits that cover those cantons.

Article 4. Correspond also to the new province, the cantons: San Juan del Potrero, San Isidro, San Mateo,

Pulquina, Capillas, Manzanal and Torrecillas.

Article 5. The Judicial Party of the Province is created? Knight?, with a judicial seat in Comarapa, both

dependents of the Judicial District of Santa Cruz.

Article 6. The limits of the new Province? Knight?, are the same as the current Second Comarapa Section,

in which the new Salpina Section is understood, with its delimitation.
