Honorable National Congress has sanctioned the following Law:
THE H. NATIONAL CONGRESS
DECCRETA:
The following reforms are approved to the Constitution:
NATIONALITY AND CITIZENSHIP
The Article 39 is drawn up in the following terms:
" Article 30 and new "Son Bolivianos: lo.â€" Those born in the territory of the Republic, with the exception of the children of foreigners who are turned on in Bolivia at the service of their governments and the children of foreign passersby, which may choose between The Bolivian nationality was that of his parents, when he was ten and eight years old.

Article 41 is worded as follows:
Article 41.†" The Bolivian woman married abroad does not lose her nationality. The foreign woman married to Bolivia acquires the nationality of her husband, provided that she resides in the country, and manifests her conformity; and does not lose her in the case of widowhood or divorce. "
The Article 42 is written in the following form;
"ArtA-culo 42.â€" Bolivian nationality is lost by acquiring foreign nationality, sufficient to recover it from home in Bolivia. "
Article 45 is written in the following terms:
Article 45.†"The rights of citizenship-to be suspended:
1o.â€" For taking up arms or providing services in the enemy in time of war;
2o.a€ " fraudulent bankruptcy declaarda or by executed and damning sentence to corporal punishment;
3o.†"For accepting foreign government functions, without permission from the Senate, except for university and cultural charges in general."
