CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC

As soon as the Honorable National Congress has sanctioned the following Law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1.- It is erected in Canton, under the name of Opoqueri, the ex-community of the same name in

jurisdiction of the Province of Oruro Province.

Article 2.- The new canton will have as its capital the village of Opoqueri and will comprise in its jurisdiction the

following regions: Tambo de Ohuruma and San Antonio.

The Military Geographical Institute will delimit cantonal jurisdiction in accordance with Article 6 of the Decree

Supreme of 5 December 1950.

Contact the Executive Branch for constitutional purposes.
