DECRETA:

ORGANIC LAW OF POLICE AND CARABINIERI OF BOLIVIA

CHAPTER I

OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS DEPENDENCY

CHAPTER II

OF THE TOP POLICE PERSONNEL AND

BOLIVIA ' S CARABINEROS

OF THE POLICE AND CARABINIERI OF BOLIVIA

CHAPTER IV

OF INSTITUTES OF INTEREST

ARTA-ASS 12A ° € " POLICE TEACHING ESTABLISHMENTS ARE INTENDED TO:

CHAPTER V

OF THE DEGREES, DESTINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS

ArtA-ass 14A ° †" The President of the Republic shall grant to the Heads, Officers, Classes, Troop and Civilian Personnel in accordance with this Law.

ArtA-ass 15A ° †" The promotions and destinations of the Heads, Officers, Classes, troops and other staff of the Institute will be made through General Orders and Body Orders approved by the President of the Republic.

CHAPTER VI

OF HABITS

ArtA-ass 16A ° †" emoluments of the Director General of Polica-as, Sub-Director, Inspector General, Departmental Brigades Commanders, Heads, Officers, Troop and Civil Servants of the Polica-a and Carabineros of Bolivia are governed by the Law of Budget.

CHAPTER VII

OF THE ESCALAFON

ArtA-ass 17A ° †" The organization, operation and categorization of personnel of the staff of the Police-a and Carabineros of Bolivia will be subject to the Escalation that will be established in charge of the Chief of Staff.

18A †" Each official of the Institution will organize two files with the following data:

a) photo-graph-a of the official,

c) names of parents and grandparents,

d) place and date of birth,

e) baptism items,

f) schools and colleges in which he studied,

g) military service book, when he is not a graduate of the police teaching institutes,

h) number of identity cards,

CHAPTER VIII

OF THE AVAILABILITIES

CHAPTER IX

CHAPTER X

OF THE DISCIPLINE TIPS

CHAPTER XI

OF THE USE OF ARMAS

CHAPTER XII

OF THE FISCATION

CHAPTER XIV

OF INDEMNITIES AND DECORATIONS

ArtA-ass 30A ° †" The Heads, Officers, Classes, Troops, and Civil Personnel of the Institution who are indefinitely disabled for work on the service, will have the right to receive, the equivalent of a year of assets, as compensation, apart from a monthly penalty according to the degree of invalidance.

The heirs of those who die in accidents or accidents, in the performance of their duties, will also receive the equivalent of a salary.

CHAPTER XV

OF THE RETIREMENTS

ArtA-ass 32A ° †" The Heads, Officers, Classes, Troops and Staff The civil society of the Bolivian Police and Carabineros of Bolivia will have the right to retire from the 20 years of service according to the following scale:

20% of services with 70%

After 21 years of services with 80%

After 23 years of services with 90%

Services with 100%

ArtA-ass 33A ° †" Officials who would have met 25 years of counter-service services will retire with the higher immediate grade.

ArtA-Lass 34A ° â€" The retirement will be compulsory for officials who had completed 30 years of service, in order to ensure that the Escalation of the Bolivian Police and Carabineros allows the rise of the young elements.

ArtA-arse 35A ° †" The retirements will be processed in front of the Ministry of Government according to this law.

ArtA-culo 36A ° â€" The retirees may be called to the active service according to the needs of the Birth by General Orders and Body Orders.

ArtA-ass 37A ° †" The payment of the retirements and mortuary fee will be made by the Administrative Retirement Fund.

ArtA-ass 38A ° †" The indemnities referred to in Article 30 of this Law will be paid by the Administrative Retirement Fund.

CHAPTER XVI

OF THE MONTEPIOS

ArtA-ass 39A ° †" The montepA-or is the monthly penalty equivalent to the last salary that you perceive-to that of cujus, which is awarded in favor of the widow, of the children or elderly parents.

ArtA-culo 40A ° â€" The montepA-or is extinguished in the following cases:

When single children who have not reached the majority, contract marriage.

ArtA-ass 41A ° †" The loss of benefit to the montepA-or by one or more of the heirs of the qujos, will increase in favor of the other heirs.

ArtA-ass 42A ° †" The penalty for the concept of montepA-or is sacred in favor of the heirs of the cujus; it cannot be embargoed or withheld judicial or administratively.

CHAPTER XVII

OF LUTOS AND MORTUARY QUOTA

ArtA-ass 43A ° †" Al The death of a member of the Polica-a and Carabineros of Bolivia, their relatives will perceive, by concept of lutos, two months of salary without deductions of any kind, running the expenses of burial for the account of the State.

44A ° †" The lutos will be paid immediately for the death, for the Pagadura-General of Polica-as and Carabineros, through the Caja of the Departmental Brigade to which it belonged the one of cujus.

CHAPTER XVIII

OF RETURN OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND EVICTION

ArtA-culo 45A ° †" The members of the Bolivian Police and Carabineros, will have the right to the return of their contributions, from the Pension and Administrative Retirement Fund, in the following cases:

CHAPTER XIX

GENERAL PROVISIONS

ArtA-arse 49A ° †" Members of the Polica-a and Carabineros de Bolivia, in case of international war, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the National Army; and in case of serious risk to the internal security of the State and the maintenance of the public order, the General Staff of the Army and the Directorate General of Bolivian Police and Carabineros, will act in full agreement through the National Defense and Government Ministers, receiving direct orders from the President of the Republic.
