CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPAsBLICA

For: The Honorable National Congress has sanctioned the following Law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS.

DECCRETA:

ArtA-ass 1A ° .†"Since the promulgation of this Law, the use of imported wood in general constructions, except for the intended purpose, is prohibited in the territory of the Republic. roofing, scaffolding, bridges or works which, qualified by the Architecture Direction, require special dimensions or qualities.

ArtA-ass 2A ° .†"In the other purposes, such as formwork, fences, doors, windows, machinegated, furniture, etc., will be used unfailingly national wood. The import of sleepers is prohibited.

ArtA-ass 3A ° .†"The granting of foreign currency of the State for the import of woods other than the dry-winged in the first-ass is suspended.

ArtA-ass 4A ° .†"Violators of this law will be punished with financial penalties of Bs. 10.000.â€" a 100,000.†" according to the severity of the case, and that they will be applied by the Ministry of Economy, and through the repartitions of their dependency on the the interior of the country.

ArtA-ass 5A ° .†"The law for the promotion of industrial loans by the Central Bank will be applicable with preference for sawmill installations and construction of roads to the forests that are provided for an operation.

ArtA-ass 6A ° .†"The rates of national wood transport on the State's railways and private ones will be those of the last category-a for five years.

ArtA-culo 7A ° .†"The Ministry of Agriculture will address and encourage the national timber industry by organizing forest exploitation maras to make a more technical and commercially productive use for the
