ENRIQUE PEA ' ARANDA C. CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPASBLICA.

FOR HOW much, the H National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECRETA:

ArtA-ass 1A °. †" The universities of La Paz, Chuquisaca, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, PotosA-and Oruro, constitutionally autonomous and equal in hierarchy, will have the following assets and rents:

a) The real estate transferred by the State, by private individuals or acquired in particular by the universities.

b) The transferable securities, donations, legacies and enseres acquired at the right of the title.

(c) The subsidies that will necessarily be entered into the National Budget for each economic management, or those that will recognize departmental and municipal budgets.

d) The ten percent surcharge on income and Municipal patents of the capital and provinces of each department and twenty percent of reaggravation on taxes in general perceived by the Departmental Treasures, with exception of the Territorial Contribution.
