ENRIQUE PEA ' ARANDA C. CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPASBLICA.

FOR HOW much, the National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECCRETA:

ArtA-arse 1A ° .†" The election of senators will be made by the incomplete list system, according to the article 124 of the current electoral law.

ArtA-ass 2A ° .†" Being three senators to elect by department, they will be voted only for two, and must be proclaimed the ones that would have obtained the majority vote. This majority, with respect to the representation of the A-As, must reach, at least, the fourth part of the higher figures obtained in the election.

ArtA-ass 3A ° .†" In the election of alternate senators it is proposed in the same way as in the election of owners, in accordance with the provisions of Article 124 of the aforementioned law, and the one of February 4, 1929.

Communicate to the Executive Branch, for constitutional purposes.
