EVO MORALES AYMA PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

As soon as the Plurinational Legislative Assembly has sanctioned the following Law: THE ASSEMBLY PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATION, DECREE: Article 1. In accordance with Article 166, paragraph I, of the Constitution of the State and the Report of the National Electoral Body referred to the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, proclaim the Constitutional President of the State Plurinational of Bolivia to the citizen Dn. Juan Evo Morales Ayma, and Constitutional Vice President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the citizen Dn. Álvaro Marcelo García Linera, elected by an absolute majority of votes, with sixty-four points twenty-two percent (64.22%) in direct form, in the General Elections on 6 December 2009, for a five-year constitutional period, according to establishes Article 168 of the Constitution of the State. Article 2.- In compliance with Article 161, numeral 2, of the Political Constitution of the State, the oath of law and investiture of the proclaimed citizens shall be held in solemn Session of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly on the 22nd day of January 2010 to 10 a.m., with the ceremonial of rigor. Refer to the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.
