PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA
For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has sanctioned the Next Act:
THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,
D E C R E T A:
Article 1.
I. In accordance with the provisions of Article 158 (1) and Article 322 of the Constitution of the State, approve the Convention on Contingent Financing for the Integral Attention of Emergencies Caused By Phenomena Natural Catastrophic, signed between the Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Andean Development Corporation-CAF, on April 7, 2010, for an amount of up to $us75,000,000.-(SEVENTY-FIVE MILLION US DOLLARS), destined for to fund the comprehensive care of emergencies caused by phenomena Catastrophic natural disasters on Bolivian territory.
II. The Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, through the General Treasury of the Nation, is authorized to assume the repayment
of the obligations that are incurred in the implementation of the Contingent Financing Agreement approved by the present Law.
Article 2. The Contingent Financing Agreement will be executed through one or more contracts of
Loan to be signed between the Ministry of Development Planning on behalf of the Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Andean Development Corporation? CAF, after declaring an emergency and approving the terms of the contracts by the Executive Body, through Supreme Decree.
Remitase to the Executive Body, for constitutional purposes.
It is given in the Chamber of Sessions of The Plurinational Legislative Assembly, at the nineteenth day of May
of the year two thousand ten.
