LAW Nº 180 law of 24 October 2011 EVO MORALES AYMA President constitutional of the PLURINATIONAL State of BOLIVIA, by how much, the plurinational Legislative Assembly, has sanctioned the following law: the Assembly Legislative PLURINATIONAL, DECREES: law for the protection of the territory indigenous and ISIBORO SÉCURE National Park - TIPNIS article 1. (DECLARATION OF HERITAGE OF THE TIPNIS).
I is declared to the indigenous territory and Isiboro Sécure National Park - TIPNIS area of ecological preservation, historical reproduction and habitat of the indigenous peoples of Chiman, Yuracare and Mojeño - trinitario whose protection and conservation are of vital interest of the plurinational State of Bolivia, socio-cultural and natural heritage.
II. within the framework of articles 30, 385, 394 and 403 of the political Constitution of the State and other regulations in force, is ratified to Isiboro Sécure National Park and indigenous territory? TIPNIS as indigenous territory of the peoples of Chiman, Yuracare and Mojeño-trinitario, indivisible, imprescriptible, unattachable, inalienable and irreversible character and protected area of national interest.
III. also, additionally declares Isiboro Sécure National Park and indigenous territory? TIPNIS, intangible zone.
Article 2. (INDIGENOUS TERRITORY AND PROTECTED AREA). Having Isiboro Sécure National Park and indigenous territory? TIPNIS, in addition to the category of indigenous territory, the category of protected area, is, guarantee of conservation, sustainability and integrity of life systems, the functionality of the ecological cycles and natural processes in live in harmony with mother earth and their rights.
