CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has The following Act:

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

Single Article. Is Article 8 of Law No. 222 of 10 February 2012, of Consultation of the Peoples

Amending, of Indigenous Territory and Isiboro Secure National Park? TIPNIS, with the following text:

? Article 8. (Deadline). The Free and Informed Prior Consultation shall be conducted from its beginning to its conclusion, no later than two hundred and ten (210) days after the enactment of Law No 222 of 10 February 2012.?

REPEAL AND ABROGATORY DISPOSITION

Unica.

I. The modification contained in this Law will be applied in the process of Consultation prior to the indigenous peoples of the

Indigenous Territory and Isiboro Secure National Park? TIPNIS.

II. The provisions contrary to this Law shall be opened and repealed.

Remit to the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Session Room of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, at nine days of the month of May

year two thousand twelve.
