CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has The following Act:

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1. In accordance with Article 158, attribution 14ª of paragraph I, of the Political Constitution of the

State, is it ratified? Energy Treaty of ALBA? signed in the City of Barquisimeto, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on April 29, 2007, by the governments of the then Republic of Bolivia, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Republic of Nicaragua and Republic of Cuba.

Article 2. The Executive Body through an Interpretive Declaration, will communicate to the Government of the

Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in its capacity as depositary of the treaty, that the name? Republic of Bolivia? should be understood as? Plurinational State of Bolivia?, in accordance with the Constitution of the State promulgated on February 7, 2009, and Supreme Decree No. 048 of 18 March 2009.

Remit to the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Session Room of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, at twenty-eight days of August

of the year two thousand twelve.
