EVO MORALES AYMA

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, has sanctioned the following Act

PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1. The National Monumental, Historical, Cultural and Architectural Heritage of the State

Plurinational of Bolivia, the Convent of the Carmelites of Santa Teresa, located in the Municipality of Cercado del Departamento

Article 2. The preservation of the Convent of the Carmelites of Santa Teresa, as

is declared as a priority, as

Historical, Cultural and Architectural Monument.

Article 3. According to current regulations, the Autonomous Government of Cochabamba and the Government

Autonomy Municipal of Cercado of the Department of Cochabamba, will be able to manage funds for the preservation, maintenance and restoration of the Convent of the Carmelites of Santa Teresa.

Article 4. The Ministry of Cultures is responsible for the registration, cataloging and issuance of the certificate of

Cultural Heritage, mentioned in Article 1.

Remit to the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Session Room of the Legislative Assembly Plurinational, at the eleven days of the month of September of the

year two thousand twelve.

Therefore, I enact it so that it has and will comply as the Law of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
