LAW OF NOVEMBER 6, 2012

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Legislative Assembly Plurinational, has sanctioned the following Law

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1. It is stated as priority and interest of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to implement plans, programs

and projects that seek to optimize the rational and efficient use of energy, preserving the environment and human health.

Article 2. The Executive Body of the central level of the State, in coordination with the autonomous territorial entities,

will prioritize in the short term the gradual replacement of incandescent foci by (fluorescent) savers, encouraging and encouraging their use and marketing through awareness campaigns.

Article 3. The Executive Body of the central level of the State, in coordination with the autonomous territorial entities,

within the framework of its competences, will develop educational dissemination mechanisms to generate culture in the area of efficiency energy, management, recycling and final disposal of the savers, by Regulation within 90 (ninety) days of its enactment.

Remit to the Executive Body, for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Session Room of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, at seventeen days of the month of October

year two thousand twelve.
