CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has sanctioned The following Law:

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

PECUNIARY RECOGNITION LAW

FORMER PRESIDENTS AND FORMER CONSTITUTIONAL VICE-PRESIDENTS

Article 1. (OBJECT). This Law is intended to grant a Pecuniary Recognition to Citizens and Citizens who held the Presidency and the Constitutional Vice-Presidency of the State.

Article 2. (BENEFICIARIES).

I. These are former Presidents and ex-Vice-Presidents of the State Constitutional, in a sum equivalent to ten (10) national minimum wages monthly, amount that will be paid by the General Treasury of the Nation-TGN.

II. The or the beneficiary will receive the benefit granted for life.

Article 3. (APPLICATION). To access the benefit, the beneficiaries must submit a request addressed to the Minister or Minister of Economy and Public Finance, accompanied by certification issued by the Ministry of the Presidency or the Secretary General of the Vice Presidency, as appropriate, that certifies the time of the exercise of its constitutional mandate.

Article 4. Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, within fifteen (15) days, will issue a Ministerial Resolution providing payment of the pecuniary recognition if applicable.

Article 5. (INCOMPATIBILITY OR SUSPENSION OF PROFIT). The benefit shall be in force as long as the beneficiary does not receive state remuneration.

Article 6. (ACQUIRED RIGHTS).

I. Similar rights acquired prior to this Law are respected, under the application of previous regulations.

II. The pecuniary amount currently perceived by the citizens and citizens exercised the Constitutional Presidency and Vice-Presidency under the application of previous regulations, will be adjusted to the amount defined in Article 2 of this Law.

Article 7. this Law will be financed by economic resources of the General Treasury of the Nation-TGN.

ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

FIRST. There is a readjustment to the equivalent of seven (7) national minimum wages monthly, in favor of the mining women who took action in defense of our country's democracy and who perceive the benefit under the Resolution Camera of the House of Senators No. 024 /02-03 dated October 10, 2002. The benefit with this increase will be paid for life, from the first month following the date of enactment of this Law.

SECOND. The Ministry of Economy and Public Finance is authorized to make the necessary budgetary modifications to comply with this Law.

Remitase the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Chamber of Sessions of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, three days of May of the year two thousand thirteen.
