LAW No. 782 LAW OF 18 FEBRUARY 2016
Evo Morales STATE CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF BOLIVIA PLURINATIONAL
Whereas, the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, has sanctioned the following Law:
the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, DECREES
LAW DECLARING THE 18 MAY EACH YEAR, AS
WORKING DAY AND BOLIVIA THE WORKER FABRIL
ARTICLE 1. This Act is to declare May 18 of each year "National Day of Worker and Worker
Fabril" in commemoration of the historic struggle of the workers in the factories, recognized Supreme Decree No. 3060 of 1952; suspension of activities of 0-24 hours and payment of salary in any manufacturing facility.
ARTICLE 2. The suspension of activities arranged should not be considered under any circumstances
as permission, on account of vacation or otherwise, no discounts also may be made for any reason.
ARTICLE 3. The staff required to work in factories indispensably, day and in the hours before
indicated, shall have the have or agreed to pay according to law.
PROVISION AND REPEAL
abrogating Single. Refer to the Authority Executive
they are abrogated and repealed all provisions contrary to this Law., For constitutional purposes.
