ALBERT II, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 78 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. In section 43 of the Acts on the Use of Languages in Administrative Matters, coordinated on 18 July 1966, as amended by the Acts of 22 July 1993 and 10 April 1995, the following amendments are made:
1° in paragraph 2, paragraph 1er, the words "of a grade equal to or greater than that of director" are replaced by the words "of a rank 13 or higher or of an equivalent grade";
2° in paragraph 3, subparagraphs 1er and 2 are replaced by the following:
"The King determines for each central service, for a maximum of six years, renewable if there is no change, the percentage of jobs to be allocated to the French framework and the Dutch framework, taking into account, at all levels of the hierarchy, the importance that the French-language region and the Dutch-language region represent respectively for each service. However, for ranks 13 and higher and grades equivalent, the jobs are divided between the two executives as equal percentages, at all levels of the hierarchy.
The bilingual framework has 20% of the ranks 13 and above and the equivalent grades. These jobs are divided equally, at all levels of the hierarchy, between the two linguistic roles. »;
3° in paragraph 3, paragraph 6, the words "digital equality of leadership jobs" are replaced by the words "of distribution of ranks 13 and above and equivalent grades".
Art. 3. This Act comes into force on 1er January 1999. Language frameworks in force before 1er January 1999 will remain open for up to six years after that date.
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
