28 MARCH 2000. - An Act to amend section 117 of the Judicial Code and insert a section 240bis in the same Code (1)



ALBERT II, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 77 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Article 117, paragraph 1er, the Judicial Code is replaced by the following provision:
"On the advice of the Attorney General and after consultation with the parties, the first president of the Court of Appeal sets out the date of the opening of the sessions of the sitting courses, makes the distribution between the various courses of the cases referred to them and fixes, for each of them, the opening date of the proceedings. »
Art. 3. An article 240bis, as follows, is inserted in the same Code:
"Art. 204bis. At least eight days before the opening of the proceedings, the president of the court of siege decides by order, in the light of the written conclusions of the Attorney General, on the rectification of material errors affecting the identity of the jurors on the jury list and the statement of the jurors of supplement. »
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
