The chambers adopted by We know the following:
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 78 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Article 447 of the Criminal Code is supplemented as follows:
"In the event that the public action or disciplinary action relating to the imputed fact is extinguished, the record of this action is attached to the record of the slandered action and the slandered action is resumed.
In the case of a decision to categorize the action relating to the imputed fact, the action in slander shall be taken, without prejudice to a suspension of that action if the investigation of the imputed fact knows new judicial developments. »
Art. 3. Section 24, 3°, of the Act of 17 April 1878 containing the preliminary title of the Code of Criminal Procedure, replaced by the Act of 11 December 1998, is replaced by the following:
"3° in the cases provided for in Article 447, paragraphs 3 and 5, of the Criminal Code. »
Promulgation of this Act, order that it be coated with the Seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor
