20 JULY 2004. - An Act to amend the Act of 10 June 1997 relating to the general regime, detention, traffic and control of goods subject to access (1)

The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1
er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 78 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. In the Act of 10 June 1997 on the General Regime, Detention, Traffic and Control of Products under Access, as amended lastly by the Programme Act of 9 July 2004, an article 8bis is inserted as follows:
"Art. 8bis. By derogation from Article 8, for the Member States as well as the products and periods mentioned in the table below, the same restrictions as those referred to in Article 6, Column I, 1°, of the Royal Decree of 5 May 1986 concerning the duty to import and access granted in international passenger traffic, apply effective 1
er May 2004 to the quantities of these products, starting from the above-mentioned member states, of a direct introduction to Belgian territory:

Art. 3. This Act produces its effects on 1
er May 2004.
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
