22 MAY 1991. - An Act to approve the following International Acts: 1. Convention on the Reduction of Cases of Multiple Nationalities and on Military Obligations in the Event of Multiple Nationalities, done at Strasbourg on 6 May 1963, 2. Protocol amending the Convention on the Reduction of the Cases of Plurality of Nationalities and on Military Obligations in the event of a plurality of Nationalities, done in Strasbourg on 24 November 1977, 3. Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Reduction of Cases of Multiple Nationalities and on Military Obligations in the event of a plurality of Nationalities, done at Strasbourg on 24 November 1977. - Addendum (1)



As of 27 April 2007, the following declaration was deposited with the depositary of the Convention:
"In accordance with the Agreement of Interpretation of Article 12, paragraph 2, of the Convention, accepted by the Parties to the Convention and signed by the Secretary-General on 2 April 2007, the Kingdom of Belgium denounces Chapter Ier of the Convention. »
This partial denunciation will take effect with respect to Belgium on 28 April 2008.
