19 JULY 2013. - Interpretation Act of section 97 of the Act of 25 June 1992 on the land insurance contract (1)

ALBERT II, King of the Belgians,

The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1^er. This interpretative law regulates a matter referred to in Article 78 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Section 97 of the Act of 25 June 1992 on the land insurance contract is interpreted in that, on the one hand, the scope of Chapter II of Title III covers all insurance contracts of persons in which the occurrence of the insured event depends only on the duration of human life, even when the mutual benefits of the parties have been assessed by them without taking into account the laws of default and that
Art. 3. This Act is not applicable to insurance contracts whose mutual insurance benefits have been fully implemented by the parties to the contract, by the day of the publication of this Act to the Belgian Monitor.
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
