21 DECEMBER 2013. - An Act to fix the military contingent for the year 2014 (1)

PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The House of Representatives adopted and sanctioned the following:
Article 1^er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74, 4°, of the Constitution.
Art. 2. The military contingent for 2014 is set at a maximum of 32,115 military personnel.
Not included in this number, military personnel who are on standby under the Act of 25 May 2000 on the laying-off of certain military personnel from the active military and military personnel who are on voluntary suspension of benefits under sections 36 to 50 of the Act of 22 December 2008 on various provisions (1).
Art. 3. This Act comes into force on 1^er January 2014.
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
