10 AVRIL 2014. - An Act to amend the Criminal Code to protect children from cyber-predators (1)

PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1^er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 78 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. In Book II, Title VIII, Chapter III, of the Criminal Code, a section VIII entitled "From the lure of minors on the Internet for criminal or criminal purposes".
Art. 3. In section VIII, inserted by section 2, an article 433bis/1 is inserted as follows:
"To be punished by imprisonment from three months to five years, the major person who communicates through information and communication technologies with a proven or supposed minor, with a view to facilitating the commission of a crime or offence:
1° if he concealed or lied about his identity or age or quality;
2° if he insisted on the discretion to observe as to their exchanges;
3° if he has offered or has made a gift or an advantage to me;
4° if he used any other manoeuvre. ".
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
