The Chambers have adopted and we endorse the following: Article 1. This Act regulates a matter referred to in article 77 of the Constitution.
S.
2. the following modifications to the following international acts will release their full and complete effect: 1 ° the modification of the 1966 International Convention on load lines, adopted on the basis of article 29 of the Convention of 1966 referred to above and referred to Chapter 1 of the annex;
2 ° the amendments to the 1988 Protocol to the International Convention of load lines, 1966, adopted on the basis of article VI of the 1988 Protocol above and listed in Chapter 2 of the annex;
3 ° modification of the 1969 International Convention on tonnage measurement of ships, and the Annexes, made in London on 23 June 1969, adopted on the basis of article 18 of the 1969 Convention above and referred to Chapter 3 of the annex;
4 ° the amendments to the International Convention for the safety of life at Sea 1974, adopted on the basis of article VIII of the Convention 1974 above and listed in Chapter 4 of the annex;
5 ° the amendments to the Protocol of 1978 relating to the International Convention for the safety of life at Sea 1974, adopted on the basis of article VIII of the Convention 1974 above and listed in Chapter 5 of the annex;
6 ° the amendments to the 1988 Protocol to the International Convention for the safety of life at Sea 1974, adopted on the basis of article VI of the 1988 Protocol above and listed in Chapter 6 of the annex;
7 ° the amendments to the International Convention of 1978 on standards of training, sea, issuing patents and Eve, adopted on the basis of article XII of the Convention of 1978 mentioned above and listed in Chapter 7 of the annex;
8 ° the amendments to the International Convention of safe containers 1972, adopted on the basis of articles 9 and 10 of the Convention in 1972 to above, mentioned in Chapter 8 of the annex;
9 ° the amendments to the Protocol of 1978 relating to the International Convention for the prevention of pollution from Ships 1973, adopted on the basis of article 16 of the Convention of 1973 above and listed in Chapter 9 of the annex;
10 ° the amendments of the 1997 Protocol amending the International Convention of 1973 for the prevention of pollution from ships as amended by the Protocol of 1978 relating, adopted on the basis of article 16 of the Convention of 1973 above and listed in Chapter 10 of the annex;
11 ° the amendment of the 1992 Protocol amending the International Convention of 1969 on civil liability for damage due to pollution by hydrocarbons, adopted on the basis of article 15 of the Protocol of 1992 above and referred to Chapter 11 of the annex;
12 ° the amendment of the 1992 Protocol amending the International Convention of 1971 on the establishment of an international fund for compensation for damage due to oil pollution, adopted on the basis of article 33 of the Protocol of 1992 referred to above and referred to in Chapter 12 of the annex.
S. 3. in the sole article of the Act of 27 December 1968 concerning the approval of the International Convention of 1966 load lines and annex, made in London on 5 April 1966, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 29 of the Convention of 1966 referred to above without the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article "shall be inserted between the words"April 1966"and"come".

4. in the sole article of the law of 7 April 1975 approving the International Convention on the tonnage measurement of ships, and of Annexes 1969, made in London on 23 June 1969, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 18 of the Convention of 1969 above unless the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article "shall be inserted between the words"June 1969"and"come".
S. 5. in the Act of 10 August 1979 approving the International Convention for the safety of life at sea, and annex 1974, made in London on November 1, 1974 and the Protocol of 1978 relating to the Convention and annex, made in London on 17 February 1978, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article VIII of the Convention of 1974 above the Belgium is opposed to their" adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article,"shall be inserted between the words"February 1978"and"come".
S. 6. in the sole article of the law of 16 August 1982 approving the International Convention on standards of training, sea, issuing patents and Eve, and annex, made in London on July 7, 1978, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article XII of the Convention of 1978 mentioned above without the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article,"shall be inserted between the words"July 1978"and"come".

7. in section 1 of the Act of 20 August 1981 approving the International Convention on the safety of containers, and Annexes, made in Geneva on 2 December 1972, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of articles 9 and 10 of the Convention of 1972 above the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same articles "shall be inserted between the words"December 1972"and"come".
S. 8. in article 2 of the Act, paragraph 2 is deleted.
S. ((9 in the single article of Act 17 January 1984 on the approval of the following international acts: a) International Convention for the prevention of pollution from Ships 1973, and schedules, made on November 2, 1973 in London, b) Protocol of 1978 relating to the International Convention of 1973 for the prevention of pollution from ships, and annex (made in London on 17 February 1978, the following changes are made: 1 ° the provision under a) is supplemented by the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 16 of the Convention of 1973 above unless the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article";
2 ° the provision under b) is supplemented by the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 16 of the Convention of 1973 above unless the Belgium opposes their adoption and which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same section".
S. 10. in article 2 of the law of August 10, 1998, approving the 1992 Protocol amending the 1969 International Convention on civil liability for damage due to oil pollution, and annex, made in London on 27 November 1992, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 15 of the Protocol of 1992 above the Belgium opposes their adoption and which enter into force in respect of" Belgium under the same article,"shall be inserted between the words"November 1992"and"come".
S. 11. in article 2 of the law of August 10, 1998, approving the Protocol of 1992 amending the International Convention of 1971 on the establishment of an international fund for compensation for oil pollution damage, done at London on 27 November 1992, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 33 of the Protocol of 1992 above the Belgium opposes their adoption and which enter into force in respect of" Belgium under the same article,"shall be inserted between the words"November 1992"and"out".
S. 12. in article 2 of the law of 6 October 2005 on the consent to the and implementation of the Protocol of 2003 to the International Convention of 1992 on the establishment of an international fund for compensation for oil pollution damage, made in London on 16 May 2003, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of articles 24 and 25 of the Protocol of 2003 above the Belgium opposes their adoption and entering into force for Belgium under article 24,"shall be inserted between the words"May 2003"and"out".
S. 13. in section 2 of the Act of 15 June 2004 approving the Protocol of 1997, amending the International Convention for the prevention of pollution from Ships 1973, such as amended by the Protocol of 1978 relating, and annex, made in London on 26 September 1997, the words "including the amendments adopted on the basis of article 16 of the Convention of 1973 above the Belgium opposes their adoption and" which entered into force with respect to the Belgium under the same article,"shall be inserted between the words"September 1997"and"come".
Promulgate this Act, order that it be under the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
