10 AVRIL 2014. - An Act to amend the Act of 18 July 1991 on the Control of Police and Intelligence Services and the Coordinating Body for Threat Analysis (1)

The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
PART I^er. - General provision
Article 1^er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 77 of the Constitution.
PART II. - Amending provision
Art. 2. Article 14bis of the Organic Law of 18 July 1991 of the Control of Police and Intelligence Services and of the Coordinating Body for Threat Analysis, inserted by the Law of 1^er April 1999 and amended by the Act of 3 May 2003, is supplemented by a paragraph written as follows:
"A Memorandum of Understanding is concluded between the General Inspectorate and Committee P and is subject to the approval of the Ministers of the Interior and Justice and the Parliamentary Committee to accompany Committee P. The objective of this Memorandum of Understanding is to maximize synergy between the two services, increase efficiency and clarify their modalities of collaboration. ".
PART III. - Final provision
Art. 3. This Act comes into force on 1^er April 2014.
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
