The Board of Governors of the ESM has been approved by resolution 3 (SG/BoG/2014/04/03) of 13 July 2007. October 2014, the following amendment to the Treaty establishing the European Stability Mechanism between the Kingdom of Belgium, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Estonia, Ireland, the Hellenic Republic, the Kingdom of Spain, the French Republic, the Italian Republic, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Malta, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Austria, the Portuguese Republic, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovak Republic and the Republic of Finland under Art. 44 of the Treaty approved:
Cover sheet
After "THE REPUBLIC OF LATVIA", "THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA," is inserted.
Contracting Parties
After "the Republic of Latvia," the "Republic of Lithuania," is inserted.
Article 8 (1) of the Treaty
'EUR 701 935 300 000' shall be replaced by '704 798 700 000'.
"seven million nineteen thousand three hundred and fifty shares" will be replaced by "seven million seven-and-a-half-hundred-and-a-hundred-and-seven-hundred-and-seven-thousand shares".
Article 8 (2) of the Treaty
'EUR 80 221 200 000' shall be replaced by 'EUR 80 548 400 000'.
Supplement to the final formula of the contract
According to the last paragraph of the final formula of the Treaty, the following is added: " With the accession of the Republic of Lithuania, the Lithuanian text shall be equally authentic; it shall be deposited in a single original in the archives of the depositary; shall transmit a certified copy to the Contracting Parties. "

According to the statement of the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union of 12 February 2015, Lithuania has 14. January 2015 has deposited its instrument of accession to the ESM Treaty; the Treaty as amended by its amendment has entered into force on 3 February 2015 in accordance with its Article 48 (3) for Lithuania.
