154. Presentation of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the Convention on the Liberation of Foreign Public Documents from the certification

According to statements by the Dutch Government, the following states have their instruments of accession to the Convention for the Liberation of Foreign Public Certificates of Authentication (BGBl. No. 27/1968, last proclamation of the BGBl area. III No 79/2005):

According to information provided by the Dutch Government, the following states have been designated as the competent authority in accordance with Article 6:

India:

The Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India.

Poland:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to a further communication from the Dutch Government, Colombia has declared that, starting on 1 May 2005, the signature, which is evident on the Colombian apostille format, is no longer written in ink, but rather will be scanned.

Romania 1 On 17 June 2005, in accordance with Article 6 (2) of the Convention, notified the authorities responsible for the issue of the Apostille as from 1 September 2005:

-

the courts for the documents referred to in Article 1 (a), (c) and (d);

-

the prefectures for the documents referred to in Article 1 (b).
