On the occasion of the deposit of their instruments of ratification or The following declarations have been made by the following States:
Afghanistan:
Afghanistan, the Convention will only (i) the recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards issued in the territory of another Contracting State and (ii) on disputes arising out of legal relationships, whether contractual or otherwise. apply in a non-contractual manner, which are considered to be commercial matters under the domestic law of Afghanistan.
Jamaica:
The Jamaica Government will apply the Convention on the basis of reciprocity in accordance with Article 1 (3) only to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards issued in the territory of another Contracting State.
The Government of Jamaica further states that it only disputes the Convention in accordance with Article 1 (3) in disputes arising out of legal relations, whether contractual or non-contractual, under the national law of Jamaica as commercial matters. shall be applied.
Pakistan:
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan will apply the Convention only to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards handed down in the territory of another Contracting State.
