Notification of the following Ramsar areas in accordance with article 2 paragraph 5 of the Convention on wetlands, especially as Habitat for water birds and Charadriiformes, by international features1:
Bavarian wild meadow and wild meadow felt
The Ramsargebiet "Bavarian wild meadow and wild meadow felt" (11° 48 ´ E, 47° 35 ´ N) includes land amounting to 132,57 hectares in the District of Kufstein in the village of Brandenberg and is bordered to the North by the border with Germany. The part of Bavarian wild mountain is located in the biogeographic region "Northern Alps - northern foothills of the Alps and flysch zone - Sonnwendjoch", the part of wild meadow felt in the biogeographic region "Northern Alps - Northern limestone Alps - Rofangruppe". The surfaces of the Ramsargebietes are mainly marshland and lie at an altitude of 1430 and 1470 m within an imaginary triangle (1629 m) and the night stone (1598 m) between the elevations of the neck (1863 m), Mt. Savage hole tip.
Marsh and Lake landscape Keutschach Schiefling
The wet area complex "Moor and sea seascape Keutschach Schiefling" in the Austrian State of Carinthia includes parts of the territory of municipality of Keutschach am see the Katastralgemeinden 72126 Keutschach, 72151 Plescherken and 72170 St. Nikolai, as well as the municipality of Schiefling am see with the Katastralgemeinden 72166 St. Kathrein and 72182 Techelweg amounting to 542,72 hectares. The Ramsar site (14° 04' 10 "-14° 13' 54" E; 46° 34' 14 "-46° 36' 07" N) is located on the valley floor between the Southeast Ridge to the South and L L 97 Keutschacher Straße 98 Farrendorfer road in the North and West. It consists of several parts, starting with Rauschelesee double bass Lake, the Dobeinmoor Keutscha, the Hafnersee Penekensee-Reauzmoor, Farre village Moor in the East and ending in the Roach Moor near Sankt Egyden in the West; It stretches about 12.5 km long between 507 and 615 m above sea level.
The empowerment to make of this Declaration was signed by the Federal President on May 4, 2005 and countersigned by the Federal Chancellor.
