Andorra:
The Principality of Andorra does not consider itself bound by Article 48 (2), which provides that a compulsory referral to the International Court of Justice of any dispute which cannot be resolved in accordance with paragraph 1 of this Article shall be made. The Government of Andorra takes the view that, for any dispute referred to the International Court of Justice for a decision, the consent of all parties to the dispute is required in each case.
China:
Declaration concerning the Special Administrative Region of Macao:
On the occasion of the resumption of the exercise of sovereignty over Macao, China notified the Secretary-General that the Convention will also be applied to the Special Administrative Region of Macao.
Declaration concerning the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region:
On the occasion of the resumption of the exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong, China notified the Secretary-General that the Convention will also be applied to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The reservation made by the Government of the People's Republic of China on Article 48 (2) is also applied to the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.
Montenegro:
With reservations that Articles 9 and 11 of the Protocol are not applied in the territory of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Myanmar:
The Government of the Union of Myanmar declares a reservation on Article 6 concerning the rights of the Suchtgiftcontrol Council.
The Government declares a reservation on Article 14 (2) (lit). (b) extradition and shall not be bound by this Article if the States of Myanmar are concerned.
Saudi Arabia:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia does not consider itself bound by Art. 48 (2) of the Convention.
Serbia:
With reservations that Articles 9 and 11 of the Protocol are not applied in the territory of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Vietnam:
The Government of Vietnam declares a reservation on Art. 36 (2) lit. (b) concerning extradition and Article 48 (2) concerning dispute settlement.
Gusenbauer
